Hotel: Ilunion Auditori 3* hotel Barcelona

Talk about a great location to stay in Barcelona.
We stayed at Ilunion Auditori 3* hotel.
Only a 10 min walk from the metro station Arc de Triomf.
But most tourist attractions are do-able by foot leaving from here.

Welcome to Ilunion Auditori

You enter a clean tight themed reception.
On the left you have a ’social space’ with a computer and on the right you’ll find the breakfast area and the restaurant that serves a seasonable menu.

The room

Our room was simple and clean, but the view was a bit disappointing.
We had a view over a small inner court-yard and we could actually see into our neighbours room.
But besides that it was oke and a bit bigger than expected, which is always nice.

The bathroom

Our bathroom was also larger than expected and modern, maybe the mirror could use an upgrade but that’s just a small detail.
We were pretty content about our room.

Breakfast

Breakfast was really good, a continental breakfast with a lot of choice.
From normal meateries and cheese, to fruit and sweet bakery.
And if something was finished or needed something extra, it was quickly replenished and you were always served with a smile.

Extra’s

They also had a fitness area and a pool.
We didn’t make use of the fitness area but it’s nice to know that we could use it if we wanted..
The pool is pretty cool, it’s a roof top pool.
But like mentioned in my Barcelona blog I forgot my swimming gear, so we didn’t use that either!
It seemed that they already cleaned it up at that time, thought it was kind of strange as it was only the end of September and it was still warm.

We liked this hotel, price quality wise it was wonderful and on top of that the area was really good and reachable to most attractions.
What’s also really nice is that this building is officially custom for people with a disability.
