I really loved Costa Rica! It has so many things to offer from national parks near volcanos, mountain villages, and a rain forest to back to the beach.
Welcome to one of our last hotels! A spacey parking lot and we had a warm welcome!
If you have read my former blog of Rincon de la Vieja you’ll understand that I was pretty excited to leave and head out to the beach!
Well I got quite a story to tell about this hotel. And sadly it’s not a good one.
From misty mountains in Monte Verde to a Volcano area in Rincon de la Vieje. We traded the mountains for a national park with a volcano and this part of the country was a bit ( a lot) warmer. Everything was dry and you could tell that there was a fire sometimes.
We finally arrived at our hotel and there were parking spots right in front of the door! And it was only a 5 minute walk to the centre of the village!
On to our next destination, welcome to misty Monte Verde!
Welcome to our second sleeping place in Costa Rica. Aninga Lodge is only reachable by boat but it’s located at the main canal.
One of the last days we didn’t go that far. We actually just walked over to the other side of our lodge and through another lodge, there was a walking path.
Our first trip of 2017 was so hard to choose from! There were so many places so discover, but 1 thing we agreed on was that it wasn’t going to be Asia.
