You can guess by now that I love Island hopping.
To get from Ibiza to Formentera took us about 30min by boat.
Formentera is a small Island, right next to Ibiza.
Actually it’s the smallest of Spain’s Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea.
The island is an ideal day trip away from Ibiza, you have all different kinds of beaches.
Once there, you can rent a bicycle or go by bus to your destination.
We chose to go to Playa de ses Illetes for 2 reasons.
The first reason was, that this is a must see beach!
if you search for it on the web, all sites mention that this beach is one to see. It’s crowned “top 6 best beaches” according to TripAdvisor.
Second was because it’s the first stop of our bus, LOL.
We were actually kind of lazy to look it up or wait a bit longer for the next beach stop.
It’s a really nice beach with clear water.
I tried snorkelling here, but there’s only one bar nearby.
Kind of sucks a bit, but luckily there are salesmen with backpacks who sell cold drinks.
Like every other famous beach, this place can be crowed, but they don’t stay to long
because of the boat schedule.
We really enjoyed Formentera, we came here for a total relax moment.
And that’s what happened, we all had a small power nap.
We didn’t stay to see the centre of the island, we heard you can have a great meal here.
Well that’s something we will do the next time.
